Approximately 40 MS/HS teachers from BINUS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL Serpong attended a workshop on How to Motivate Learners on 13 January 2010, at the 2nd floor Admission Hall, BINUS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL Serpong. This workshop was organized by the Widia Center of Excellence for Teaching and Learning (WiTeL) and featured facilitator Dr. Eva J. Hoffman from Connect2education. Dr. Hoffman is a Professional Educationalist, and the author and the co-author of 15 published books. She has taught, spoken at conferences and run workshops all over the world (Argentina, France, Holland, Italy, Ireland, Poland, Spain, Sweden, and the USA).

Participants at the How to Motivate Learners Workshop

In this workshop, teachers were given the tangible tools to help them deal with the very challenging issue of teenage frequent lack of intrinsic motivation. The course was 100% activity-based, where teachers experienced the activities which they will later introduce to their students.
