Approximately 40 MS/HS teachers from BINUS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL Serpong joined a workshop on Cooperative Learning on 13 January 2010, in the Spare Room 1, First Floor High School Building, BINUS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL Serpong. This workshop was organized by the Widia Center of Excellence for Teaching and Learning (WiTeL) and featured facilitator Sarbene bin Jantan, MS/HS Subject Teachers (Sociology). Mr. Sarbene is certified as a Cooperative Learning Trainer from the Kagan Institute, USA. He has experience in conducting Cooperative Learning workshops since 2001.
During the workshop, teachers were introduced to various Cooperative Learning techniques and Collaborative Skills. They were expected to become Cooperative Learning Ambassadors who disseminate what they have learnt to their colleagues.
